# Software built around how you operate.

> Custom software by Dream Awake Labs. Dream Awake Labs builds custom software for venues and businesses: operator controls, guest flows, integrations, and internal tools.

Operator controls, booking and guest flows, integrations, and the tools your team uses every day. Integrate existing systems or define the setup your project needs.

For: Venues, operators, and businesses.

## Use cases

- **Operator and show controls**: The screens your staff use to start, reset, monitor, and adjust an experience.
- **Booking and guest flows**: Requests, approvals, deposits, and confirmations connected to the tools you already use.
- **Integrations and internal tools**: Connect CRM, payments, email, and analytics so data moves without re-entry, plus the admin tools around them.

## Capabilities

- Web applications (TypeScript, Vue, Nuxt)
- Postgres databases
- Payments and deposit invoicing
- CRM and email integrations
- Analytics and ad attribution
- Hardware and show-control integration

## How we work

The Rectangle is our Santa Cruz development and prototyping space. Test the core interaction here before planning the full installation.

1. **Scope**: Define the audience, experience, site constraints, budget, and technical risks. Agree on a focused development plan.
2. **Prototype**: Build a working interaction at The Rectangle. Playtest, refine, and document what the venue version needs.
3. **Pilot & deploy**: Adapt the prototype to your site. Plan hardware integration, installation, operator training, and ongoing support as part of the project scope.

## Work and prototypes

One system runs this website. The others are prototypes in development at The Rectangle, not client installations.

### Agentic lead and booking system (Live on this site)

The inquiry and booking system behind this website, built by Dream Awake Labs.

- Captures structured inquiries from the site forms and from browser agents.
- Screens each request with an AI decision model for spam, intent, and fit.
- Routes studio bookings and business projects to separate pipelines.
- Keeps CRM records in sync and alerts the team.
- A person approves every request. Approved bookings get a secure deposit link.

### Mixed-reality mini-golf (Prototype)

A mixed-reality mini-golf game developed in the lab. A technology demonstrator, not a venue deployment.

- Procedural course generation, so layouts can change between rounds.
- Interactive mixed-reality gameplay.
- Explores AI characters as in-game guides.
- Designed to adapt courses to the size and layout of a location.

## Start a project

- **Book a lab demo**: In-person walkthrough at the Rectangle.
- **Discovery call**: A call to talk through your project.

Send a request at https://rectangle.space/build/custom-software#request or call (831) 607-8735. Your request comes straight to us. We confirm every demo and call personally. Sending this request does not book a time until we confirm it.

## Working with us.

### What kind of software do you build?

Operator controls, booking and guest flows, integrations between existing systems, and internal tools. We scope it around how your team works.

### Can you work with our existing equipment?

We review your hardware, software, and site requirements during scoping to identify what can be reused and what needs development.

### What happens at a lab demo?

An in-person walkthrough at The Rectangle in Santa Cruz. See the prototypes and the room, and talk through your project. Send a request and we’ll confirm a time.
